Alright, so since I've opened 3 threads today asking what upgrades are available for the G3, I think that I'll make a mega post here, and hopefully people will read it before they post a thread about it...

Trigger:
-Soon to be upgraded trigger from DP, and maybe from Acid customs

Ruthless Paintball offers AMAZING triggers too

Board:
-Stock replacement board available from DP, and APE board. Virtue board will be released in early 2009.

ASA:
-Any standard ASA will do, but keep in mind that the rail that comes with your G3 will not work with an aftermarket ASA except for the warrior ASA pictured in below posts(CP, Trinity, SP etc, require a new rail)
Regulator:
-Any standard regulator will work (CP, bob long, palmers etc...)

Feedneck:
-Any Matrix threaded feedneck will fit fine on your G3

Barrel:
-The G3 takes autococker threaded barrels. (CP, sly, freak etc...)

Eyes:
-Laser eyes are available from Virtue and 7E

Grips:
-The G3 takes standard 45 grips, but be careful when buying them, some are known not to fit such as the Dye sticky grips. Panel grips work, and some wrap arounds need trimming*

*-unconfirmed
Bolt:
-PM user Sushifish11 for custom Delrin Bolts. Many people have had success with these bolts.

Misc.:
-PMD (rear mounted pressure measuring device from Dangerous Power)

Idk, all i know is that the virtue laser eyes for the fusion don't work on the threshold.

Let's wait for someone else to get on that one

grips, some are known not to fit? I suggest you put which ones don't fit....

I think all panel .45 Grips Work and Wraparounds may need trimming.

As I mentioned in another thread, Dye Stickies will not cover the board completely. They do fit, and are comfortable, but your run the risk of paint getting into the board area

wait so for upgrading the asa. are you saying it will or will not accept asa's. you said any standard asa will do. But then you say they wont fit the rail...will they it or wont they?

They will fit, not the rail on the gun, you have to get a new rail.

you need a new bolt on rail if you are going to be using any other rail asa (minus a couple of them)

hey guys about the laser eyes the g3 jus takes the same as the thershy and f8, there on paintballgateway.com and another type of grip that doesnt fit are the empire skull 2-pc. grips, a little bit of the trigger frame shows at the top. aslo within a month dp is comming out with a board that is micro switch and is better than a virtue, but only for around 75$, i was told this by dp service.

the laser eyes are too short for the G3. i wasted my money on it! i have to modify the lenght to make it fit.

I need more reviews with the laser eyes. 1 works and the other one doesn't...

if you want a review then i can tell you that this eyes uses battery more than the stock. but its bright as hell though. which is good if you want to know if your eyes working or not. but if you think that nothing is wrong with your stock eyes then you shouldnt need this. i give it a 3 star.
