lol i play football too and one of the only reasons why im still playing is because of the opportunity get paid to play!! im in college right now and they are already paying for my education!! i wish they gave out scholarships for playing paintball in college!! cause i rather be playing that...if i could get paid to play

it is kinda weird, but maybe they want people to show up from colleges when they have more time (over the summer) to drive to these far off fields to come watch. i mean basketball and football just have a bigger fan base and are more noticed in a college.

paintball is just so hard to flim to, unless u get flim crews out on the field with $100000 buck stuff to flim it. i mean its nice when NPPL.com does there broadcast, i dont know why they just cant do something like that, it keeps everything simple and stuff. Like u all said be4, the SP ESPN paintball stuff was sweet. ESPN needs to pick up some events, PSP, u know even forgen stuff like LAPPL and milen. any coverage is good coverage. and the interviews dont get in the way, just look at dvds and videos online, just edit them for all the good parts

Paintball on TV = money
Why?
Advertisers pay to have their commercials on the TV.
Sponsors of the event pay for things and what not.

So on a college level the only people that would make money would be the university and FOX.

But

College paintball allows the sport to become more known to the general public and thus after time a league can be created just like any other sport (NFL, MLB, etc...). Money from airing on tv + team endorsements + "tickets" to events + gear that is sold = money for the teams.

It can easily get there and it just might very soon.

it really just depends on where u live, i live in michigan where hockey is a big deal and we get live u of m hockey all the time. but we dont get live baseball.
