i used an egg for the longest time, probably worst investment i've made in paintball.
look hard on the BST forums and you can probably snag one for 40-50.

a egg is the best beginner hopper there is. personally i use a empire b2 w/ speed feed and a vlocity w/ speedfeed but egg is a great first hopper thats what i had. they last forever and are good.

as of now i just play for fun on our property and need to get another c02 tank(9oz) so me and a friend can shoot a whole case of paint and a new mask b/c my old one is a POS.
very low setup. i might get a SP Vibe in a few months but will have fun with what i have right now. its been raining an inch a day for two weeks now down here in louisiana and will for 2 more so won't be able to play for a while anyway, although sloshing around in the woods is pretty fun, lol

The gun and the tank are alright. For a brand of tank get a Crossfire. I'd recommend the JT Proflex for a mask and a Viewloader VLocity Jr. for a hopper.

I hate PMRs, but the Vices are sexy. Dye UL barrels are great. PMI tanks are junk, get something like a Crossfire, DXS, CP. Don't get a Halo, get a VLocity with a Gangstar chip. The VLocity is so much simpler and lighter. The pack is good. I don't wear jerseys ever, so whatever. The pants seem a bit over the top, but if that's what you like. Get the Proflex for a mask. The NXe pads are a good idea.
As for the Impulse, well, it's an Impulse...whatever, if it works for you.

The Spyder is alright for a beginners gun, I had one as a first gun. Don't hold onto it for too much longer, pretty soon it's going to turn into a pile of junk, even with proper maintenance. The BE gun is junk, but if it keeps you and your friends happy then more power to ya'. Co2...meh, works for you guys for sure, you really don't need air. I'd get 20oz. tanks so you don't run out of air so quickly. The hoppers are fine. The Java mask is junk, so it the JT nVader mask. I'd recommend you at least get a JT Spectra mask.
As for the Vibe as a replacement for the Sonix, that sounds alright.
Who says you can't play in the rain?

The PMR is great, but I'd sell the Ion and grab an SLG or sell both and get a protege.
As for everything else, its exactly what I use and Ive been playing for 5 years (except I use a vlocity jr w. gangstar).

I'd say keep the Tourqe over the Halo, that's just me though. Good setup none the less.

wait a while, like a few weeks at most. its truly up to you, i waited like 3 weeks before getting jersey and pants and i dont regret it at all, as long as you have a ****ty pair of jeans to wear, if not then go for it.

Not bad, I suggest upgrading your mask next. A high end mask will feel amazing compared to your nvader.
