And to whomever asked above: Yes, we are using a nitric/phosphoric mix now along with a few other steps in the anodizing process to yield what I feel is the whitest clear anodizing in paintball.

if i were to get my pm6 done like that, would it come out looking like a nice solid white, or a "clear" anno like i have now...only i wouldnt be doing the gloss green

It's the flash/lighting when the picture was taken.
Believe me, pretty much all dust clear ano jobs look the same (in person) unless the enodizer doesn't know what they're doing.
