cutting flex8? and chin strap question

Is there a walk through to cut flex8 tops? I looked through the stickys. And.
Are there any major tounrys that dont let u use cut flex8 tops or chin straps?

i saw that one but it didn't say which. the 2 that matter to me is nppl and psp do they care if i cut my chin strap or flex8 top?

Yes, technically it is illegal in (most) major tournaments. But they rarely ever say anything about it.

And for cutting, I just used a pair of scissors...but there are far better ways to do it. (as in a warm knife) I just wanted to get mine done real quick and they were cheap bottoms.
