SPLAT APT Suggestion Thread v. 2008

Have a idea on how we can make the league better, what field we should hold a event at, or what sponsor we should try to add to the prize package? We want to hear from you!

well as a player, i know it is not impossible but very hard to do to have a "perfect" league...

but

since it is fpo... decent paint prices
field layouts? or is that too much to ask for.

i am not sure if you have tried but ccpaintball helps out local tournaments like this with prize donations and helps spread the word with flyers in their store.

Paint

Paint: Our relationships with paint companies will ensure that will be selling a range of different grades of paint at each SAPT, with each tier being sold for as low as we can afford too.

We may also be selling private "SPLAT Magazine" paint at these events as well, using high-end tournament grade "Elixir" from WPN as the brand we private label.

Field Layouts: We will do our best to release field layouts as soon as possible both here and on our site. One of the main goals of the SPLAT APT is to not act like a local tournament series, but instead offer the same range of support and tools that industry leading leagues like the XPSL (Which is one reason we've afilliated ourselves with their series) have become known for.

The main field at each event will be played on the brand new SPLAT Magazine branded Sup Air field, complete in red & white "NPPL" colors.

Thanks for the lead on CC Paintball, we'll definitely hit them up.

Team "NME" is in the house.

We as NME appreciate the work that goes into putting on tournaments, it is not easy. You will always have the complainers but they typically dont understand what goes into putting on tournaments, so ignore the haters. One thing I have noticed in past tournaments is that they dont give a field layout for the young guns, can you do that? It would help us.
Keep up the good work and thanks for giving us what we need.

The reffing at splat riot series needs to be addressed. You need refs that have no relationship with the players playing the event! That could be a big help.
