It's like the pwhite is faded at the area of the bends or folds on the mask,,, I got a white one too an noticed that. Still a very cool mask,,, but I think I toasted my clear lens by washing it with warm tap water,,, go figure.

Again, can you get any pictures? I have a white mask, and other than having used it for almost a year now and it being slightly dirty over time, it is still white.

Now I see what you mean. I think that it may simply be a bit of dirt, kinda, that has ended up imprinting itself there. Kind of hard to explain, or maybe I simply can't think of the words that are correct right now. Have you tried to wash your mask at all? Take off the lens and wash it in warm soapy water. Scrub the lines a bit to see if that helps to remove the lines.

I'm pretty sure it's not dirt as my mask is like that and it's brand NEW. I think it's the dye in the palstic or the process.

The rubber itself is discolored. Like the color did not take or bled out at the bent or creased areas on the mask.

^^^ Wish I could tell you but I don't understand your question (puzzled look smiley goes here).
You said "there's no plastic behind that part of the mask",,, what I said in my previous post about the dye in the plastic (I meant rubber) not taking was that when in the coloring process the color must have not taken well to the area that was bent/formed. Anywhoo,,, I can live with the discoloration,,, I'm more of a function > form kinda guy.
OP,,, let me know if you go ahead and send you mask back and get it replaced,,, that's pretty sweet CS!
