I'm sure I'm not the only one here who would love to see some actual testing/results that would back up this claim.

By reading posts 33 - 41, I define "It" this way:
It is not a perception (that the Luxe has a flatter trajectory, is more accurate than my other guns, and had better range). I guess you are one of those people that think that the exit veolcity of a paintball gun will give you the same range no matter what type of gun it is?

Also range = the distance to which a projectile is or may be sent. Sean says nothing about accuracy in that statement.

The guy asked nicely not to clutter up his thread. I do apologize helping to thread jack your thread.
Please take the discussion to discuss the range of paintball guns to HERE

Guys, I appreciate these kinds of arguements, I really do, but this is definitely *not* the place for it. This started out as a "I got my Luxe" thread and to show off something that very few of us on here have seen (namely the internals). Somehow, that got wildly sidetracked onto how SP is full of hype. If you want to talk about it, great... take it somewhere else though.
*edit* Thank you Sean
Having said that, how about pics of say... what's in the grips? I know there's been a pic or two of it before, but I'm sure you could get us nice clear(ish) pics

What the crud? How does the gas get to the gun. I don't see anything to take it there.

the air passage is milled into the frame and passes behind the trigger.

I find those numbers hard to believe. I would think that if this gun was efficient that someone would have advertised it instead of the speaker. Especially since these internals look very similar to a shocker's. However, I will keep an open mind for now.

If you know what you're doing you can get around 1700 + shots off a 68 tank with a shocker. So it is entirely reasonable to think the luxe with a similar design could do the same. And it only takes one aftermarket part to do this, no mods or special bolts. With mods 1800 plus is possible. I'm not saying that the luxe can do this, but it is not unreasonable to think its possible.

They fit an air passage in that tiny space? I'm surprised. Might I ask the diameter of the air passage just for my gee wiz collection.

Please tell me that isn't an eye ribbon. Please tell me this $1500 marker at least comes with wired eyes.

Wires break, pinch, come out of harness... etc. Ribbons don't. I fail to see your issue on this.

Agreed, with markers getting smaller and smaller running wiring throughout the gun would get tough.

eye ribbons, eye wires. who cares..
unless you're a complete *******, you're not going to break either. I have no complaints with either. I own guns that use both...and it doesn't make a damn bit of difference actually.

I'm assuming that wasn't kick and just a by product of holding the gun with one hand. Looks nice. Still not $1650 nice IMO, but looks like it works good. Now to see how it holds up maintenance wise.

Nope that was kick...
I'd really love to see a shocker with 1700 or 1800 shots as someone posted earlier...

Ive seen ungodly amounts of ribbon eyes break, yet for some reason, Ive only seen a few eye wires pinch or come disconnected... I also noticed that the only gun that seems to use ribbons is the lower end Dye markers and Shockers... I wonder why that is
