PM me your request for the o-rings. I haven't had a chance to go through all my PMs. One guy from Germany even donated $10 just to request 2 free o-rings... who can turn that down?!

Yes, but there's not enough leverage to ensure a perfect alignment for ALL o-rings. the front right part of the block has no breech rod to push that corner down. Fortunately, the o-ring that I'm using isn't large enough to misalign my breech.

i jus did it to my ir3 and tested it out and it worked wanders... the oring is a lil thick but i think its ok.. its a hell of alot quieter

The idea of wearing down the breech is as follows, as I can see it.


If the seal -OR- the supergel was even a little too high, it could very slowly destroy the bolt. Thouands of shots later you could have an icky scratch on your bolt. Not only that, adhesives dry out and flake after time, in a year who knows if the supergel chipped off atall, and possibly ended up in the hammer.

It sounds like a temporary solution to a problem that needs a perminate one. Maybe if you dremeled a little socket/divet for the oring it would be safe -- I'm not sure.
