June 29th 1993 - April 27th 2008 were the greatest days of my life and days that will never be forgotten. Mikey was impossible not to love and not to laugh with. The family revolved around the hilarious things he did. He was a true kid at heart. Not afraid to speak his mind or throw a punch. He excelled in sports. Hockey took up years of his young life along with paintball. He didn’t do anything without putting his heart into it.
On Sunday April 27th Mikey was hit by a train that was by his house. He had ran out after just needing to get away from his mom’s complaining. Mike was walking down a shortcut to a near by strip mall. He, I guess was listening to his ipod and just didn’t hear the train coming.
I got him into the game of paintball a few years back. All I wanted to do was share something I loved with someone I loved. I ended up creating a monster haha. Our family never understood our love for the game, or what the hell Mikey would run around the house snapping around corners for.
I spent the last day on the field with him. And although it was about a month and a half back. Mikey would have given anything to be on the field everyday of the week. My last game with him was a two on two, with out hoppers. We stuffed paint into our pockets and laughed our ***** off.
His paintball life recently lived through me. I made a team that he was planning to go for next year. He called after my every practice to ask about aftershock and if I played any points with them.
Ive decided to keep his gear bag in his room. And use something of his during every tournament I play
Honestly I wish I knew Mikey’s hockey life more than I do. He is an all-star in the game. Skated with drive and hours upon hours of practice beneath his belt. He’s had countless game winning goals and despite his size, flattening hits.
His house is trashed with hockey puck marks, his garage has been re-drywall’d a few times. And his unfinished basement was his own private skating rink.
His last day on the ice, Mikey got a major penalty and 1 game suspension. After the game is over you shake hands and it’s a sign of disrespect if you don’t take your glove off. A kid on the other team didn’t and Mike took the kids glove and whipped it across the ice. If it wasn’t for the suspension mike would have been at hockey this past Sunday.
I love my Mikey, and I have since the day me and him were in diapers.
…more to come, I’m off to his wake

his stupid *** zoolander face lmao
