the mounded field at Hawaii All Star Paintball (its commonly called Nimitz cause thats the area its in, just to clarify when people call it that) is like a woodsball field sort of, more like bushball cause there no big trees. There are two hills, one on each side, with spool bunkers, wooden bunkers, and stuff of that sort in between. Theres lots of rocks and hills in the center ; it makes for really fun games.
Brothers Paintball is where I ref
(haha my smily is bigger). The field is more on the small side, but we have managed to fit 8 on 8 games. You dont have to worry about rocks and dirt as there is NPPL turf covering the ground. Its nice and thick so you can slide very easily. The owner Frank is tech and the staff is really helpful
There is also a pro-shop on site for any needs and a nice shiny bathroom
Island Paintball is a HUGE woodsball. It is about maybe a 30 minute drive from Waikiki. The field is like a football field. Maybe even bigger, I haven't played there in a while. It is really fun to play on and they play games with a recycle system so you can spend more time playing and less time in the deadbox.
All the fields in Hawaii are fun to play at, even if the drive takes a little longer than expected. The main thing is you come out to play and have fun. FYI this is an unbiased report even though i work at brothers
