Tippmann A5
Wondering how many balls I can shoot with a 3000psi 48 cu tank, it seems to be loosing more air then it should. Does anyone know what the problem might be?

A-5's are gas whores, I know they can only get like 800-950 with a 20oz co2.

because
to start of a 48 ci /3000 psi is
the smallest hpa tank
then ur putting it on a blowback marker
ull be lucky to get 350 shots

It is a small tank. Plus the a-5 uses air to load paint which makes the marker less efficient. You can get a lp kit for it and that may improve how many shots per fill you get.

I'd recommend a 68/4500 Carbon Fiber tank from Crossfire, never let me down.

How many shots do you think I could get out of that? And how much do they cost?

That is an excellent tank. Probobly around 700-800ish shots per fill.

Depends, New they go for about 160-200.
Used off here i've seen them go for 100.
Probably anywhere in the range of 700-1000 shots.
Crossfire's regs also have the fastest recharge out of any other reg in the business, which means at high rates of fire, such as 25bps, it will have no problem keeping up.
I had a dye throttle tank back in the day, and they have to slowest reg upkeep, which has trouble shooting at that speed.
But you only need something that can recharge like 15 bps.
Thats my shoutout to crossfire. ha.

yes, A5's are incredible gas hog machines and you should just dump that thing and get rid of it. if you want to stay cheap and get more air efficiency, i reccomend an bob long intimidator. they're cheap, high quality and very air efficient. or an 05 ego. even smart parts has created a relatively cheap electronic gun that gets great air effieciency off a 20 ounce CO2.---http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zoA8KcJZT5A
