question about playing at for U of I paintball

hey just a really quick question next year i will be attending Parkland which is the junior college 5 mins away from U of I campus and i wanted to know. Will i be able to play for the school and how do i tryout for the team.. Oh and does the school have a thread that i can go to, to find more info..

well i live in champaign and go to parkland, but ive never tried to get on the U of I team. Im pretty sure you have to attend the U of I to play with them though. They do have a website last i knew so you could try searching that.

to play ncpa events you have to go to that school

yup. there's no reason you couldn't come to practice with us, but chances are you'd need your own ride. you would have to be attending U of I to play any official events, though.

FYI guys - that is incorrect - well from what ive heard and seen

since parkland is a "feeder" school for UofI players attending P.land are able to play (just make sure with raehl first) - i know of a few players in the NCPA for a top team that has players that go to the sister schools next door to the large university and are allowed to play (no they are not sneaking on or anything, raehl allows them to play)

i think that's only allowed if the main campus or whatever can't field an entire team, which isn't usually a problem for us. for all intents and purposes, you have to attend the campus to play on the team in an NCPA event.

eh, if you knew the school i was referring to they def can field a team without the aid of the people....whatev, good luck @ nationals and next year guys, it was fun playin yall
