A-5 palmers pursuit barrel

i am most likely getting a 14inch palmers pursuit barrel with single venting, black matte powder coat, .685 bore size (is this correct for most paint?)

is it easy to clean, maintain, because i heard it tarnashes because its brass, and i was wondering where i get the stuff to get rid of the tarnashing and if it was easy, and how often do i have to clean it with brasso or whatever?

please help me, thanks

the .690 will be best for those since they are .687-.690
