My wife has to go to her cousins baby shower in Midlothian in a few weeks and she doesnt want to drive down by herself so I made the agreement that id go for the trip if I could play all weekend. Yea for me.

Since we will be in Midlothian, I know there is Rockwood (or something like that).

How is that field and are there better choices?

How far are u willing to drive? if you can stand 2 hours there is Paintball Virginia in Danville, Va which is right on the NC border

Which weekend is it?

I'm completely biased but I have to say Splatbrothers in Prince George Va. It's about 40 minutes from Midlothian but well worth the drive. It's the biggest and oldest park in Virginia.

Skyline Paintball FTW

from a distance perspective I would say the closest quality field is Splatbrothers. I have played many a scenario game there.

If you were willing to drive a bit - Warplay paintball is a great experience. Skyline and Pevs at AG are also decent as well though a bit of a hike from Midlothian....

nice thing about warplay is they go for realism and do respawns

300fps, any mode allowed(ramping, etc), blind firing, etc

respawns are every 2 for assault and every 4 for defense...25 minute games

Since my wife will be dropping me off, going to the shower, and then coming to get it, it has to be within 10-15 mins ... which I know Rockwood is. What about the others?

I want speedball (inflatables not pallet type), no woods or mil-sim

Rockwood would be your choice.

PBA is about 15 mins away maybe alittle father out in powotan, but other then that nothing close.

Splat is 40+ mins away and does not have any speedball... they have a spools field and thats it. Its a great scenerio park but thats about it. They did away with speedball a few years ago and it tried to resurface but they wont really help it.

I agree with Keyser. Midlothian is nowhere near Pevs or Skyline and you'd be looking at a 2 hour drive to get to those fields (minimum). I've never played Splatbrothers but have heard good things. I'll guarantee you'll love Warplay (near Fredericksburg). Amazing field. Amazing owners. Amazing gameplay. Amazing players.

I know you're not into "woodsball" but it will give you plenty of people to shoot at and a whole lot of trigger time

sorry brother nothing within 15 min of there but 2 hours puts you at Extreme Sports Paintball Park in South Boston, VA.
