Gaming Computer

Ok I am looking for a very nice gaming desktop with monitor for around $1000-$1300. I want it to be able to have room for upgrading, and I want it to be able to run any game I need it to. Any suggestions? Would it be cheaper/better/easier to just build one, or buy one already set up? I am kind of weary about building one though considering I have never done that before. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Build one.

It's not hard. It probably takes like 45 minutes to actually assemble the PC, and that's taking your time.

Also, we have a building/upgrading thread in ST:T.

I will never buy a prebuilt again. You really get shafted. They use low quality parts, but still charge more.

Just trust me, you get more for your money when you build.

If you absolutely can't build it yourself, go with a place like ibuypower where you customize it to your specs. You'll pay more, but it's better than buying from someone like Dell.
