Thank god you pulled this one out, Louie. I got a call from the Holderness Chief saying he was opening the case wide open. I sent him the original email from Mrs. Campbell, as well as all the emails and PMs regarding my dealings with him. Good luck to everyone. Defillipe is a good one, just takes a little time with him.

Still waiting to hear back from the Sgt. I gave him a list of PBN names and items owed to them by Robin. I last spoke to the Sgt. two nights ago.

Good news everyone!

The Sgt. left me a voicemail last night saying he has "a ton of stuff". From his message, he mentioned he had "a couple of guns", "another gun", and "a box of parts".

He said he needs the property owners' consent to be able to release the items.

The Sgt. and I need to discuss a few things, how the items will be released and to who, what items are present and what items might be missing.

I'll give you guys an update after I speak to him.

Just in case there's any doubt that I'm trying to pull a fast one, I can provide you with the Sgt.'s phone number if you want to verify with him.

IF ROBIN OWES YOU ANYTHING, PLEASE POST ON THIS THREAD AND PM ME YOUR CONTACT INFO AND THE ITEMS HE OWES YOU.

On a side note...

To be honest with you guys, I'm a little leery of having possession of everyone's stuff. The Sgt. and I won't be able to really tell if all the items were returned by Robin and if they're in the condition they were originally. In case something unimaginable happens, I don't want the police knocking on my door and asking what happened to the items. I don't want to be accused of stealing people's stuff if I become responsible of shipping people's stuff back to them. But I also don't want the Sgt. to be burdened with shipping everyone's stuff individually since he's already been so helpful. I also only have the contact info from 3 people.

If the items are released to me, I'm willing to drive up (5 hours each way) and get the items personally from the Police Department. I was thinking of getting it shipped to me but I think I would feel better if I had a look at the items before I take them.

At this point Louie, you need to be very careful of who you ship things to. Be sure to get proof of ownership before you send anything. Once you sign for those items, you are legally responsible for them, same as Robin was.

Yeah I know, that's exactly why I'm not really comfortable with being in charge of other people's stuff.

What's the point in being hostile or pestering the guy who is helping us?

We've already waited over a year with no progress, I'm not going to jump on the Sgt.'s back for not promptly returning my calls. For all I know, he has more important "police" things to take care of.

I just called the officer and explained the situation with him. He was able to get someone else's gun a few months ago but thought it was a one-off situation. When I explained to him that Robin had possession of several people's property, he met with him.

I haven't had the chance to speak to the Sgt. since he left me a message last Friday saying he was able to retrieve some of the items. I don't know yet what he has or what might be missing and I'm pretty sure I don't have everyone's contact info. Hopefully I'll get to speak to the Sgt. soon enough and get a more detailed list of what items he has and how he thinks we should go about getting people their stuff back.
