Epics seems cool but strange. Has anyone actually bought one recently?

Is there anyway for the DV8 to have a shorter feedneck?, it looks pretty silly. How hard is it to tear down the gun and how often is cleaning really neccessary?

Cleaning isn't really necessary... Taking it apart is surprisingly easy, and you probably won't ever have to take it apart in detail anyway. However, there aren't exactly any places that make shorter feednecks. I went with a classic, just because it has the right-feed. I'm sure if you talked to Jim, he could get you a DV8 with the classic-type neck if you wanted.
