National Guard Tournament

The National Guard will be having a paintball tournament on April 26, it is at Minot State University, and starts at 10:30 am. The cost is FREE. They will provide tournament grade paint, but you may bring your own paint as well. They also supply all day air and usually serve hot dogs about mid way. Any questions about the tournament please call SSG Schaffner at 857-7649 or 721-7433.

What teams plan on being at the tounament? We want to get as many teams at the tournament so that we can have divisions of teams, that way newbies aren't being stuck with guys who have been playing for a few years.

Thats a bad day for Dickinson.. Prom is that day and I believe there is a track meet that day. You should seriously consider rescheduling cause we can usually bring two teams up from here. If you get enough teams though, I suppose we are out of luck.

yup we have a track meet idk if you guys are goin to the one in mandan but thats where I am at too you should try to push it back a week. Then the militia could play and so could a few other minot teams.

ya i can get more ppl if its like a week earlier, the 26 is a bad day for some reason.

Why are you posting here if you want it moved back? The guy in charge of it isn't going to know that you want it on a different date if you are posting here. His phone number was posted here for a reason and if you want it moved then call him.

I already talked to him and told him about prom and the track meets, he is going to look into rescheduling.

We dont need the NG tournaments to revolve around you and your track meets.

Agreed.

Scheduling conflicts will always happen.

If you have a track meet, you are a runner, not a paintball player. Dont schedule a tournament around non-paintball players.

true i thought while he is rescheduling might as well push it back 2 weeks plus then the weather might be somewhat nicer I do know that schedule conflicts will happen.

kinda not about teh minot tourny, but does anyone know if there will be a to tourny in the fargo area again. I went to the one last year adn i was fun and CHEAP.

Anyone from Dickinson going up who needs an extra player?

Dunno my way there or anything but my car *should* be fixed by then so I might be able to give people a drive up or... it might not be fixed by then... I dun have a clue what's going on with it. lol

the only other NG tourny i know of is at the fair in williston but i've also never played in one and im sure i don't have all the info

Yup, but theres no fiels in Dickinson anymore, so I dunno if it'll still happen.

NG had quite a few tournies last year. Fargo, Williston, Minot, Dickinson, Bismarck.. There is no field in Dickinson anymore but there will be a tournament sooner or later. We had one near our rodeo grounds two years ago and it was better than last year when it was on our field.

Bismarck at the beginning of June/ Williston will be towards the end of June/Belfield, ND on the 12th of July/ Dickinson will try for one in June but the "Battle for the Badlands III" will go down in August/early September.

The guard is looking at upgrading a lot of the stuff. HP compressor on board the trailer. More bunkers and netting and our refs (although not "official") are getting better every year they do this.
