Trying to get into pump

I have been looking at getting into playing pump for the past few months, and now that I'm deployed to Iraq, I'll have plenty of $$ to buy a new marker when I get home. Already have 2 semi's and it's fun...but I want to try something a little different and more challenging. I've only played 2-3 times with a lent pump...Was wondering what marker would be good to begin with. I am looking more towards open class markers like a CCM. Any ideas/recommendations?

i have an aim bodied cocker and i like it b/c its a pump but yet if i felt like it i could turn it semi in a heartbeat. compared to other strictly pump guns it is heavy but idc, i lift weights and its no biggy.
Looking to make a return

Well what is your price range?

A CCM will cost a shiny penny compared to like a converted Autococker.

If you really like pump then i would spend the cash and get the CCM,But if you are on the fence i would look for a used marker,or use a OC pump for a day.

I would look around the B/S/T for a pump or ebay.

its all personal preference, in pump i like stock class, i don't like the hopper sticking out its a easier target, plus i want to challenge myself by not having a hooper full of paint

Yep, personal preference. Hopefully we won't be needing a "Only Pump Vs-thread Allowed".

Seriously, though, it's going to depend on what you like, and what's comfortable for you. A lot of guys really like the Phantom/Carter/Lapco style Nelson guns... which I can't shoot worth a darn. Some really like the Sniper/Chipley guns. There's also custom brass from Palmer.

It's a good time to be looking at pumps.
