ability to "Report this PM to a Moderator"...
lately i have seen alot of ppl getting spam PM's
ok so we all know we can report post to the mods but why cant we report PM's to mods with just the click of a link...this way we dont have to forward the PM to a mod and hope they take care of it...
and yes i realize we have modify the text in pm but surely that little issue could be resolved

jdev: snoller, do you have the ability to make food that is not epic? or is everything you make just pretty epic?
TheMike: How do you take off a bra one handed? Theres too many styles of clasps, and I dont want to look like a fool in front of the woman..

As said in previous threads, just put them on your ignore list if they are harassing you.
If they make new accounts to PM you, then report them in ttma section so they will get banned.

yes i am fully aware of that Jon, i'm just saying this would make life easier for the mods to catch PM spammers....this way they could keep tabs on who is PM spamming often...

Well technically it wouldn't. It would make it easier for YOU to report them, but not for mods to do something about it.
It would be actually be easier if you forwarded it in a PM.
When someone reports a post, the mod(s) in charge of that section gets an email linking them to said reported post. They need to follow it, and that means it would be need to be accessible to any mod(s) that would handle PMs. They still need to do the same amount of work, and we lose our privacy for a quicker way to report them.

just like moding a section only certain mods would be able to do this...and this function could send a copy of the pm to the mod instead of a link (maybe not with this programming but maybe in the future)
and it would help them keep track of who is PM spamming, just like the infraction system helps them keep track of users past history

No, PMs are out of bounds. They're here for a reason. Unless the PMs are just mass advertisements, or filled with pornography, they should not be dealt with according to rules.
Don't want bad PMs?
Use the ignore list.
