Hey guys my dad has a heavy bag that i found and starting using. Its more of a light bag its 80 pounds (not 100% sure on the weight) but anyway i know you can do jabs on the heavy bag which i have been doing but i want to add some kicks to it but im not quite sure how to kick. I would like to know how to do a muay thai kick and not a taekwondo kick b/c is muay thia you use your shins of corse and in taekwondo you use you foot which i do not want to break any bones in my foot.
If theres a video or anything, and also can anyone give me tips how to train on a heavy bag with punches and kick and combos and stuff.
I'm just saying, practicing MT kicking without instruction is just going to get you and instill bad habits into your muscle memory. Aikido is mostly garbage if you ask me, but if you are really that determined to get a BB in it, go for it.
