I just played indoor last sunday on astroturf. Very nice surface and you can superman game after game with no pain whatsoever.

Having to play on sand set HB apart from all other events. As troublesome as it may have been to play on it, it was still a cool part of the tournament. Oh well it'll still be an amazing event.

I'd say that's probably a primary reason for the turf at Huntington Beach. Last year they had to have a bunch of compressors set up so players could blow sand out of their equipment and such. Lots of people were having problems with their straps. It'll be just all around easier on players, which is what the NPPL seems to be about.

wear your jersey and your pants and no burn

wear some kind of cleat though, indoor soccer cleat or else you will slip and fall on your *** cuz of the paint, makes good sliding though

yea i hate supermaning in sand. you jump and when you land instead of it bieng like woooooshhhhhh its like poomp. you dont go anywhere its impossible to slide. but funny to watch.

whats the turf like? is it astroturf turf, or like the turf that has the rubber pellets in it or what?

How are they going to anchor the bunkers? Sandbags aren't exactly the easiest things to put inside and I doubt they will be putting stakes through the new turf.

Its not the same as AstopTurf that is used in football and suck. It actually has glass blades and stuff.....it also has little black rubber ball things

all the turf is is Astrograss. the have the same stuff in the dome in atlanta.
