there probably doing it becasue it was probably a pain in the *** to remove all the paintballs from the sand last year. With astro turf you can pick up the turf with the paint on it which means less time cleaning and its just plain easier

Ninjas can kill anyone they want! Ninjas cut off heads ALL the time and don't even think twice about it. These guys are so crazy and awesome that they flip out ALL the time. I heard that there was this ninja who was eating at a diner. And when some dude dropped a spoon the ninja killed the whole town. My friend Mark said that he saw a ninja totally uppercut some kid just because the kid opened a window.

Here is the best i can do for ya's
Grass...on the beach...at Huntington Beach?!
Barefoot Paintball on the beach? Not the case at the first stop of the NPPL Super 7 World Series. Although the fields are still on the beach, you will not be playing in the sand. The NPPL has designed and purchased a new surface for the 2004 season. The new turf will make the game faster and more exciting to watch. It will also keep the sand from getting into the Paintball markers and equipment.
The new turf is an action backed carpet, green in color that will cover the entire field. The best shoes to wear will be an indoor type soccer shoe. Outdoor cleats will not work as well. Skate shoes have been suggested as a good shoe to wear. Regardless, get ready to play on the best fields in the world.
The standard field size in the NPPL is 120 x 200 sq ft net to net, with a playing field 100 x 180 ft. boundary to boundary. Five fields will be set up in the Huntington Beach event, all using the NPPL Turf as the surface.

I think it's a good idea. Although sand is cool to play on, it's not fun to play in. Nothing like getting sand in your gun and scratching up your barrel and stuff.

Have you guys ever played football on astroturf? Can you say carpetburn?
That stuff is not slick at all, very abrasive. Definately do not wear shorts unless you wanna bleed.
