Sorry to say, Misfits can't attend this one. Thought we could. Have a conflict this weekend - hope to make the next one.

Good event today. Not as many teams as last month, but a great event overall. Thanks again for everyone's patience while I was trying to throw together a schedule with teams still registering up until the coaches meeting

Once we got started everything went very smoothly. Thanks for all the positive feedback on the reffing. It can be a thankless job as you all know.

Thanks to all the teams and spectators.

Congrats to Freight Train, Sure Shot, and Alpha Paintball on a job well done. You can find pics of the winners at Outlaw's site (sorry for the resolution).

Definitely had a great time. We look forward to next months tournament. As long as it isnt 3/9 we should be there. Btw dont worry about the scheduling, the tournament ran very smoothly. Was a great tournament and we had a blast.

we had alot a fun at the tournament. the scheduling was fine its understandable when you have teams come in late.

the only thing I was disappointed about was that they let a division 2 player play in the event. Ironicly the team that took first had the d2 player on it. the player appeared in all 5 psp events as a d3 player there for making him a d2 player.

2.2.6. A person who appears on more than two Division 3 or higher X-Ball roster in any preceding seasons is a Division 2 player.

Its kinda sad when you promote a rookie tournament and right on your first post it says no D2 players. I didn't think it was fair to any of the teams that payed there money because of there UNFAIR advantage

Also before anyone says anything this was brought up to the promoters ahead of time and they still didn't do anything about it.

This time I was just organizing the event for Outlaw. We did talk to Jim (the owner) about it before the event and he decided (after disqualifying one player) to let them play with a sub. He's new to running a field too, and will acknowledge it was a mistake and he wouldn't make the same decision again. But, what happened happened. Unfortunately, sandbagging is part of tournament paintball. Lesson learned. Hopefully we can move on.

But everyone still had a good time. Feedback on everything else was amazingly positive. We'll probably try again in another month or so and thanks again to everyone who played and had a good time for all your encouragement and positive feedback.
