I still use my series 7 mag I bought about 11 years ago. Parts kits are hard to find but still works like a charm. Doesn't shoot ropes but anyone even looking at this thread is a stealth player.

I've owned a few mags, I loved PTP products for Mags, even if they were heavy as sin. I mag with a ULE body, good barrel, Level 10 bolt, BooYah frame, and some tweaking, could be used in speedball very easily though.

maybe an odd choice considering all the mags and cockers mentioned but i liked the Air Concepts Industries F4. Light, simple and as much as I preach one gun is no more accurate than another the F4 shot darts.

Impulse? What's that?

I would have to go with the old LED's, they were so cool back then. Expensive little bugger it was!

Well, not quite. Subtle differences in the way parts are attached. Top rear plug and velocity adjuster thread in, instead of being attached by screws or pins. Plus the drastic size differances of the valve. Think of it as a much more refined Raptor (which is a clone of the F1, which was followed by the F2, and then the F4, don't ask me why they skipped the F3). Don't mind me nitpicking.

In the catagory of "semi obscure STBB" I rather like the Inferno. Just suprisingly well built. Or possibly an old Joker, which is a increadibly milled and anno'ed inferno clone.

Though anything this century really isn't 'old'. To really appreciate the sports history you need to set the way back machine a bit earlier. Old pump of course, and the heavy metal semis (golden eagle, 68-special, VM-68).

I'm surprised you got your F4 to actually work. I almost traded my Bob Long Spyder for one till the kid gassed it up and it leaked like a champ. Glad I didn't. My first semi ever was a Spyder clone called a Scorpion. It had one bore back and 3 interchangable tips. Rear cocking, steel braided hose and completely covered in black powdercoating. It actually wasn't that bad of a marker even though blowback into the hopper was an issue. I upgraded to a Spyder SE as soon as I could. I don't even know what happened to that thing. I still have my PGP and just recently sold my phantom. I still say the SE was the best old school gun out there that I've personally shot.
