That sounds orgasmic.
I think i'm gonna go for a 350z and make a replica of Signal Auto's fairlady. I found the right paint from Tamiya and now i just need the body, a lot of time, and some lexan to make the spoiler

What would be a good drifting car from here-
hobbytownusa.com

They have a local shop, so could you please stay with that?

AE TC4: http://hobbytownusa.com/Products/RCC...rodID=ASC30111

I own the tc4, very nice car out of the box for drifting. (after aba/pvc tires that is)

HP Sprint 2: http://hobbytownusa.com/Products/RCC...?ProdID=HPI708

No experience with this myself, but heard great things about it.

If i were you, I would buy the car online.
It will be cheaper, and you can get a wider variety of choices.
For a beginner, i would definatly reccomend the TT01 or any of the Tamiya T series. That would include the TB-02 and other cars. It honestly depends on how much you're gonna get into this.
If you know you're gonna be doing this for years to come, you might want to get
the TB or TT. They have ALOT of aftermarket parts available for them and you can tune them to your liking.
If you're gonna just do this once a month, go for an HPI car. Your LHS should have a variety of HPI's and you should look around to see what you like.
If you know you're gonna be shopping at your LHS(local hobby shop) alot, find
a car they have alot of aftermarket parts for. It's probably going to be an HPI because most hobby stores go for HPI but go there and find out. And don't be afraid to try a few cars out before you go and buy one, you want to see which car will be right for YOU not the guy who owns the shop.

I've tried PVC but like everyone says, it's like driving on ice. ABS works alot better, especially if you use the hot glue mod. Just drill about 4-8 holes, depending on how much grip you want, in the abs, and fill them with hot glue. I've also tried a set of drift wheels, but until i really get THAT good, i'm sticking to good old ABS

Clean/Replace the brushes? That could cause it to be a lot slower then usual. My Chameleon was busted too, but then i cleaned the brushes and it was like brand new. Now i have 2 motors, and nothing to do with them XD

nah a 10t motor wouldnt be good for drifting because the lower you go in turns, the less torque you have and you want torque for drifting
