Exclamation Threading for Air tank

I kinda cross threaded a little bit at the start of the threading for where u screw in the air tank, its not bad, just the first two threads have the paint scrapped off and its silver (WAS red) this shouldn't effect anything should it? I'm not the only one with a no-longer-perfect-threading for where you screw in the air tank right? lol

just make sure you dont crss it further, and it should be allright, even better put the tank on and leave it on ^^ thats what that particular on/off is designed for the manual actually reccomends switching ASA's (air source adapter) if you want to take your tank on and off on and off etc etc

This ASA is my least favorite on/off so far and wll soon be replaced (I missed that in the manual). I am really suprised they (SP) do not have a better model available that includes a bleeder (unless they prefer to push the maxflo). This is only slightly better than an ASA without an on/off, which isn't saying much. This is my only complaint on this marker.

-the on/off can accidently be put in a partial on position (or get bumped) and lower pressure
-it is as hard, if not harder to thread a tank on and off as an ASA without an on/off (give me a bleeder)
-we had a brand new one on an ION that was reducing the pressure (never fully ON)

I am not into drops, so am debating on what to replace it with it that keeps the styling and blends in. I say you just gave yourself an excuse to buy a new one (upgrade).. cheaper to buy an ASA than a tank

I haven't had any trouble with mine yet except for that little bit of cross threading. But, for future reference when i do upgrade it, if anyone knows of something that'll fit in with my black/red EOS and will work well. link me up plz.

Put a little grease on the threads of your tank and it will do wonders. The problem is that our tolerances are too tight and a lot of tank regs out there have really loose tolerances. And that is where the problem comes in.

i hate this asa for mny reasons if ur having problems just get a bobby long with the bleed out it mounts right to the gun since it has that like built in rail ul have less problems everywhere for now like sean said u can lube the threads just wach as you get deeper in, if your goin to keep this asa buy an oring kit and when the orings get very grey from ur asa (shouldnt happen) replace them
