Ok well I just got the ok to have off of work so I can definitely go to this..me and BJ are looking for more people, and were gonna buy 20-30 cases of paint, so if anyone has the MONEY which shouldnt be too expensive per person and CAN GO, please let me know.

lol..aight..im working on getting all that together and should have a "per person" breakdown of cost by tommorrow...according to greg..its suprisingly cheap compared to psp events..pls gas won't be as bad since its only 400 miles

oh yeah..and were going to TRY to play as low as we can..(d5)..but depending on who wants to go with us.it might up being d4. from what I've been told..if had to play d3..wed have to have our **** pretty tight. and considering how short of notice it is..itd probably be unfeasible to play higher than d4.

Ok well...the registration for D5 is 275 and D4 is 350...

lets just say we get 25, MAYBE 30 cases of paint, and it costs us anywhere from $1,000-$1,250

we take two vehicles...its about 400 miles there, and 400 miles back..7 hour trip.

hotel, wed stay for 3 nights, lets say we all cram into one room, $180-$200 bucks for that.

5 man event, 7 man roster...divide all costs up by 7...

Im GUESSING as best I can, and this is a HIGH estimate, between $350-400 a person for everything.

we can have an 8th person to do pit stuff, so if there is someone that WANTS to go, but doesnt have the cash to play but wants to come hang out, watch, fill pods and stuff, and can at least maybe pitch in for gas/hotel, that will cut down the costs a little..

bottom line, unless my figures are way off, between 350-400 a person.

The biggest issue right now, is trying to find out what everyone's rank in CFOA is...I know to play D5, we can have ONE D4 player, and in D4, we can have ONE D3 player.

Yeah I really hope you can, I was hoping to get you on it.

It will be Feb23rd-24th. Its a Sat and Sun...we would leave Friday afternoon, it only takes 7 hours to get there, so wed get there Friday afternoon, play Sat and Sun, and head home Monday morning, so if you dont already work weekends, all you would really need is to take off that Monday and you'd be straight.

Definitely try your best to get off for those days cuz I was really hoping to get you in on this. Oh and in the CFOA, what are you ranked? If we can get a roster together and sign up as D5, we would definitely have fun.

I never played a CFOA event but I think PSP I'm ranked D4

As far as getting off I may have one day I can use. If I can't I may have to leave that Sunday night after the games if I have to work monday.

Awesome man..please let me know asap, I posted in Lethal's thread and on Swat that me and BJ were looking for ppl, Id really prefer to have mostly people from our field go play, but depending on who can and cant play, we might have 1 or 2 other people jump on with us, we jump on with them, etc. Its just such short notice, were trying to pull it together the best we can. But yeah dude, keep in touch and lemme know what the dealio is.

nah im not down to play d5. im ranked d2 and 350-400 would be to much for me to play cfoa. if yall save yalls money you could play a psp event for like 5-600 a person

sorry chad. i want to, but i gotta pay my fraternity dues($400), and we are having a formal on march 1st.... thats another $150, and we have drawdown in april which is another $100, plus taking my girl out and playing paintball.... it's a tight stretch on a <$100 a week paycheck....

Chad... Dude. I really wanted to go. But that is just TOO much money for a CFOA brosef. Like Jake said. For just a bit more you could play PSP. You sure thats a good estimate?

after talking to greg...he said the same thing..he said it would be MUCH cheaper per person. I was just high balling it and I think I went too high. Here's the breakdown..

D5 entry fee: 250

gas for 800 mile round trip: at 2.95 a gallon estimation : 250

hotel for 3 nights: 180 if we cram in one room..lol

greg said wed only need 20 cases of paint most likely..so lets say if we can get paint for 45 a case: 900

TOTAL: 1580

divided by 7..

225.71 per person..

WOW was I off...Slidell High education ftw..

how's that estimation? am I close?

yeah thats right chad i new your calc was off i never paid more than 275 do yeah about 300ish including food
