I enjoyed the movie. There was a lot more singing than I expected. There is a fairly low level of unsung dialogue. I recommend seeing it if you enjoy dark entertainment.
PS, how can someone say that the only part of a musical that didn't suck was the singing?

Saw it tonight. I liked it, could have been a little less singing, but it was originally a play so I can't complain too much. And I'll never sit through a movie that takes an open mind to appreciate with my friend again. He *****ed the whole time about how bad it sucked, and that we should have seen AVP

I'd shoot a little higher than that. I'd say closer to 20 or 30 because I recall a single scene where he is simply tearing through every person he can get away with...

and it goes by the name of London.
What am amazing movie, the ending rocked.

I really enjoyed it. It was different, but in a really good way. My friend *****ed at me for making him see it, he was too slow to understand most of the movie or appreciate it for what it was. His mane complaint was that the blood looked fake...

Tim Burton's ALWAYS gone over-board with the blood gel.. it's just HIM. It'll always be that way.
and by saying he "was too slow".. did you slit his throat come the end of the flick? ;-)

Yeah I don't see how most people can dislike it. It's become one of my favorite movies now. Originally, I was VERY skeptical of it being a musical, but they pulled it off very well. Especially because there was no dancing.
But yeah, I downloaded the soundtrack the day after seeing it, and it kicks ***, too.
Unfortunately for the rest of us, much like every other Tim Burton film, it's merchandise will probably fill up Hot Topic stores all around the country
