okay...help

okay, my friend just got an 07'. it shoots fine, but once you air it up it starts leaking from the solenoid(not the barbs or hoses). then once he shoots it, it will stop.
what could be wrong?

dirty solenoid?
battery is fine.

and can anyone post a video or thread on how to clean the solenoid, that would be cool(dont have a manual).

if there is a thread similar to this asking the same questions, sorry.

The 07 noid is not servicable. I would call PE when they get back from vacation.

You can't clean the 07 solenoid without voiding your warranty. Are you sure it's the solenoid?

Check your LPR reg seat to see that it is not damaged or missing entirely.

If the solenoid is releasing air this will most likely come from to high pressure reaching it. So the solenoid is releasing it to not get damaged.
If this is true you would have a much harder time to push the bolt in a forward position.
If this is the case the solution would be either to replace the inner o-ring at the lpr body cause it lets higher pressurised air from the exhaust valve area into the lpr body, or it could be a faulty sealing surface on the lpr piston.

positive the leak is from the solenoid.
