Anyone ever at the field anymore?

I remember a few years ago, Ultimate used to be packed whenever I would go. Now, after starting to play a little bit again, a few weekends ago when I went there were maybe 10 people (other than rental groups), and today I decided to give it a try, and there was just one big rental group.

Does anyone ever play there anymore? Are there certain days/times when I'd have the best luck? The only field that I've tried that I really liked other than Ultimate was Paintball Atlanta, but the $80/case FPO is too rich for my blood. Don't see too many other speedball fields around here... Advice?

There are tons of Ultimate Kidz, Junkeez (5-man and Xball), as well as many other regulars. Usually on Sundays down on Ultimate's field.

today was just a bad sunday..alot of people were there yesterday, and with the rain,and cold even less people showed up..next sunday should be ok.

OK so Sunday is the day to go then. Last time I went Saturday. Pretty much 2-6 Sundays or certain times?

People usually start showing up around 1:30ish and start playing by 2 until dark.

The field actually doesn't exsist anymore, a worm hole opened up about two nights ago and sucked up the whole field + the tracktor supply store. A sad day.

But yeah Sunday is the best.

Well, I went by last Sunday. About 3 people there. I think I'm going to try a new field - even if it requires me playing a little woodsball =P.

he means the xball field. the majority of...if not all of the regular posters are on or are a part of the ultimate kids/junkeez program...its hit or miss with recball

since its cold and all...

no you dont need an invitation unless teams are practicing. you can always go down and check to see. its the xball field farthest away from the shop...the one you pass/can see while on hickory flats.

Oh ok, yeah I walked down and saw that the other day, but no one was there... The refs there said Saturday is the better day... So should I be trying for Saturday or Sunday (further up the thread it said Sunday)?

your best bet is to pay attention to posts in the utk thread to see when the regulars are playing. sunday is for xball practice

saturday is usually everyone else...usually...
