Hey guys, My buddy doesnt do paintball much anymore, known him for 12 years. Gave him a IM today and asked if he still had the gun around and said yes. He said he doesnt mind selling me the gun as long i dont offer him 20$ lol. Are these guns good? or decent? Ive never shot one before. And would like to get a over all feedback for it. I might even decide to throw it up on the nation later on. idk Thanks.

its not a bad gun, there is better, but its by no means a bad gun. the field i play at alot of people have egos, dms and **** like that, and i managed to hold my own

For $20 I would take it, and if you don't like it or it doesn't work you can just get another gun. its discontinued but its better than a blowback gun, like a spyder, it uses a fasor design, it doesn't have much kick, and its pretty accurate.

Oh it works, has a brand new asa, and is going to come with the 3 barrels. I figure ill offer him 50$. But you guys seem to think its a good deal right? Iam getting a mini as we speak and already have a uped promaster, but wasnt sure if i should let this deal pass me by or not

to be honest, i have used both a mini and a promaster, and you will think that the r3 is crap if you compare it to these, but it is not by any means a bad gun, i would definately do the deal.

lol he said 50 was to low and he wants 90 for it now. For like 25 bucks more i can get it new

you dont want it new, trust me. You're going to have to spend about $70 in upgrades and work through the problems. If he has the asa and reg upgraded, 3 barrels with it, and its working great, its worth alot more than buying it new, $0 is a great deal. Hell the solenoid in the thing is worth $60 new.

Yea buying it used is almost better cuz you know it works...Im my experience they are pretty picky markers (requiring lots of tlc) but maybe it was just that one. Iv heard alot of good things about them too.

Oh ya...t-board it, new regs maybe, derlin bolt...When the O3's first came out there was **** for upgrades but now there is some good stuff out there.

The only flaw imo is the bounce beam eyes. They cant see dark paint, just use bright colored paint(yellow, pink, etc.).

Honestly i have shot and owned this gun. I had about 5 of them directly from odyssey (came with their barrel kits so i still have all 5). But they broke they are very difficult guns in their first months. Honestly id just go with a ion.

Hate to bring back an old thread, but anyone know if anyone still carries upgrades for the O3? Had a surge a few years ago and fried the board but just found the t-board for it hopefully that gets it going again. Was looking for delrin bolts and whatever else. Have a cocker too, but the O3 was always my favorite.
