I'm not sure what kind of music you want to use but the soundtracks from the Medal of Honor games might help. they're classical songs though.
there's also Paint It Black by the Rolling Stones.

It was fine when it was in Donnie Darko, but when they put it in the Gears of War trailer I knew people wouldnt shut up about it...No offense to anyone that has mentioned it here.
Dont get me wrong, it's a good song, but it's also remake...I assume everyone is referring to the Gary Jules version?
EDIT: I guarantee that at least 5 people in your class use it, so just be original.

I did this project a little over a year ago and presented it soon after the Gears of War commercial came out. After I presented it this kid in my class is like "dood u stole my Gears of War song lol!" and I'm all "Dood **** Gears of War Donnie Darko rulz"
Okay, so it didn't go quite that way, but he did say it was the Gears of War song, which it sooooo isn't in my books. So no it probably is not very original anymore.
And yes I was referring to the Gary Jules cover.

If the teacher can understand what is being said I'd be very surprised. He could most definitely get away with it.

check out the album a "emotive" by a perfect circle, all the songs are about war.

I used it for a presentation about the Ugandan conflict. Worked well.

Yeah Hendrix's Machine Gun would be cool. That was Band of Gypsys, yeah?
Then again, it is anti-war, so it depends on your perspective.

Yes, combat leftist punk music with right wing propaganda pop country ****.
Yes it's propaganda. Any song that uses the slogan "Freedom isn't free" is propaganda.
