sean please explain!
alright picked up a vibe nib last weekend as a back up back up gun...dry fired it with HPA and it shot very smooth, no problems at all. However, when I tried to fire it with c02, it skipped shots. At first it would skip maybe once every 10 shots, the light would still blink & it would still beep, but the bolt just wouldn't shoot. The more I fired it, the worse it got. Until I would roll it for a good 4 seconds, and only 1 or 2 shots would actually fire. Then after that I put HPA through it again, and it shot fine.
I even tried shooting it with vertical Co2 off a remote coil, and it may have helped a little, but it was still skipping shots

1. You can't just take CO2 and screw it on if it is setup for HPA. That means your valve dwell is NOT adjusted properly. The Vibe has 2 settings for teh valve dwell. 1 for CO2 and 1 for HPA. To change this, take the battery off. Press in the power button as you hook up the battery. If it blinks twice, it is now set up HPA. If it blinks once, it is set up for CO2. To adjust again, take battery off. hold down the power button as you hook up the battery.
2. Does it have a wedge where the Bottle Adapter is?
3. What set up does you use to screw your airsystem up to? Such as the drop, on/off... etc etc.
4. Check your battery. I cannot stress this enough. You must use good batteries. I personally prefer Radio Shack 9v.

ok. There are a few things it could be.

I am assuming that your problem is #1. If you continue to have problems, please post up and we will figure it out.

I didn't know they had 2 settings for co2 and hpa. Sounds cool. I'll go pick one up in a week or so.

When I got my SP-1, it did the EXACT same thing. would not fire with every shot. I was using HPA.
Problem: the battery that came from the factory was weak. I replaced the battery and all was well.

What kind of battery was it? That is very strange to have a weak battery out of the box. Please let me know so I can look into it.

Yeah, the choking hazards, poisonous lead content, and child safety issues are Nothing right? Who cares if a few kids die?
This is serious business.

Good to know it came with a nice brand battery. The worst thing you can do when selling products is giving it a weak power source. Good job on SPs part so far.

Weird. What color is it? I think we use 2 different ones. I just want to make sure it is not going to be an on going issue here.

Industrial alkalines are the same as the retail ones, except they don't test them. At work I see some that are really strong and some that are nearly dead from the same carton.
