Magna Clutch upgrade kit problem

Well i just got the magna upgrade kit for my Halo, but i have only one problem. When i put the top piece of the drive cone on, it doesnt let me Halo cone spin smoothly. Theres like a lot of resistence. So, is the problem due to wrong installation, or what???

**And by top peice of drive cone, i mean the piece that makes it kinda like a Torque's cone. It goes on top of the cone, so it allows the cone to spin freely when the loader is full.

How is it that you are noticing that there is a lot of resistance coming from that particular spot? I know the piece you are referring to but i do not want you to mistake resistance there for just the magnet clutch. Is there just a lot of friction and grinding with the plastic top on the plastic cone? To me it just sounds like you are noticing normal magnetic resistance. But I would be interested if you can answer the questions so can try work it out.

Its not the magnets becuase:

Without the top piece, it moves fine like a stock Halo. But with the top piece on, the spring wont even spin the cone back. And i noticed what my problem could be...

If i look under the top piece, theres a spot for it to rest ON the rip shaft..but when the cone is one, theres no more room on the rip shaft thus causeing the top peice to sit DIRECTLY on the cone. So once i tighten the cone screw, its basically clamping down on the cone as well which = non moving....

Get it?

So did i install it wrong?

It does say it but it is not very clear. They could have done better with the instruction sheet. Good thing Simon is here to help out.

Glad we got it sorted out.

Bryan (filming) didn't understand why I stressed it so much at the start of that video when we were filming, but he understands now.

Video's really do rock for explaining stuff. It's far easier to understand than manuals or written instructions.
