Battleground 11/17/07 by Jimmy Hickey (WA)
Hrmmmmmm well I wasn't really happy with the over all quality of the pictures as far as color goes, so I tried something a little...different with my post processing. I've been wanting to try editing them like this for a while, I've just never had a good chance to.
anywhoo, enjoy, I don't plan on using this style too often, but I'm somewhat satisfied with it.

I use a Minolta 80-200 2.8 APO on my Sony Alpha A100, I also have a 17-50 2.8 Tamron and the kit 18-70 3.5-4 lens.
My main set up seen here:

I'd personally stay away from Sony and Minolta. The alpha doesn't handle noise well and has a difficult time with sports shots, and the Minolta lens has a really slow and loud autofocus, so I miss a lot of shots from that.
But it's a pretty nice camera don't get me wrong, but it gets annoying at times...

good shots but the processing is weak... why would you push the reds on a rainy day? if anything you shoulda pushed the blues and greens to give it a colder feel, and done a slight desaturation... save the warms for a sunny summer day

Wow I just did the opposite of my processing and I am way happier with the results. I'm going to re release these later tonight because of that, thanks Sergio I had my white balance set kinda weird, so the colors where really weak, but I got it now
K I re processed them
