Hi everyone
I'm new to paintball - I've shot/played with other guns and so I know a bit, but not much...

I just bought a G2 for myself just for fun and target practice. My question is - would it be worth it to customize this gun?

I already have an extended barrel, but no other mods.

Is it worth spending the money to up it, or should I just wait and get a better gun then upgrade it?

Probably be best if you saved you're money for something else, if not id recomend you get a T-board form scenariodreams.com

What is that?

I looked around, and it seems to be a computer chip/wiring mechanism of some kind.


EDIT: Is this for electric-only guns? Mine is CO2.

I would just pay for a anti siphon tube if your shooting c02 and if your going to play in cold weather a small 80 steel hpa tank.I would play with this marker and not up it due to a lot of newer electro now are running in the 200-400 price. a electro are nice like the mini if your going to play speedball. a mec spyder or pmi markers are nice for woods ball or when fields are wet or raining and you dont want to fry your hi end marker.

I live in SoCal, so it doesn't get cold here. I'll usually be playing woodsball.

part for the co2 tank that helps keep liquid co2 out of the marker

It's a tube that is soldered into your valve and bends around to the top of the bottle when it's mounted so it picks up mostly gas only instead of a mix of gas and liquid. But it means that your bottle can only mount to that one gun or another that happens by chance to tighten up with the same side facing up.

The G2 is an older mechanical Piranha with an angled powerfeed. It's pretty out of style these days. I'd have to say just use it and enjoy it but don't put any additional money into it.
