New to paintball, and recently purchased a Spyder VS1. Many people were saying the board would be a good upgrade, so I thought I'd make a thread and get some background on it. So... can someone post here and tell me where I can buy a board for my VS1, what brand to get (T-Board, Tadao, etc), and how it upgrades my gun. Thanks a lot!

Really the best bet/cheapest way out on this one is the Tadao chip. It's only 20 bucks!

I'm all about virtue but in this case I'm gonna tell you to go with Tadao. It'll give you just about everything you want in a board. as far as modes go.

Ok cool. I hear a lot about the Tadao, so I'll probably go with them. So how exactly does this chip work, and what does it upgrade? Can I just take it to my local shop and have it installed, or is it easy enough to do it myself?

If you are unsure, better to have someone to do it for you and pay the 5 or 10 bucks in case they mess it up they would have to buy you a new one. But yes it is pretty easy if you have a chip puller.

i dont know alot about boards, but the tadao website says you need to already have a tadao vs board for that chip to work. click the link and scroll down, and you'll see it
