This young guy from Yakima asked me to help him organize a paintball tournament for a project he is doing for Toys for Tots. So I thought we'd have it in Grandview at our new hyperball field. The format will be a little different but I think it'll be a lot of fun.
Where: 173924 McCreadie Rd., Grandview (Take I-82 exit 75...go north one mile and take a left at 173924...then go 1/4 mile, field on the right).
When: Dec. 1st, 2007...captains meeting at 10 am. Registration is due ($30/team) by Nov 26th. Paypal
tim_thompson@hotmail.com or mail check to 11624 N. Missimer Rd., Prosser, WA 99350
What: Format 2-6 man depending on experience level. Read on for details.
You are allowed to field a total of 6 "points". Beginner players are 1 point, intermediate are 2 points, open players are 3 points. Any combination of those players to equal 6 points.
For example you can have 6 beginner players (6 x 1 = 6 points) OR 2 open players (2 x 3 = 6) OR 2 beginner and 2 intermediate (2 + 4 = 6)....you get the idea.
Classification of players is the same as all Grandview Tournaments.
How Much? FREE entry (but you must bring a toy for the Toys for Tots). Air is $10 and paint is $45/case (field paint only)..
There are no prizes, but I will likely pick up some trophies and if there is enough interest I'll see about doing a raffle at the end of the day. It'll be fun to play with different skill level opponents but still have a chance b/c of numbers of players on teams varying.
PM me if you have other ideas, I am open to suggestions...
