Stingray Help

when I shoot my stingray the paintballs only go about 5 feet can someone help

tank full?? try unscrewing the nut on the top of the gun behind the barrel. see if that helps

And remember the choke type velocity adjuster is backwards of say spyder or VL gun. Screwing it in LOWERS the velocity, screwing it out RAISES the velocity.

If I remember correctly, there is also a point that you unscrew it so far and the velocity decreases. This happened with my Stingray.
In this case, simply find the point in the velocity adjustment where either way you turn it you get a decrease in velocity.

If you have messed around with the velocity adjuster, made sure your tank is full, etc. and you still cannot get to the proper velocity, your mainspring may be a bit worn out. You can either get a new one, or put a bunch of pennies behind the spring in the bottom tube.

^^Yep.

Worst case scenario- do a complete teardown, cleaning, and rebuild. Works in the vast majority of markers I work on for my local proshop.
