Breaking in spring

Ive dry fire a 100 or so shots with my new mini out the box to make sure it was working fine.
I have read in the stickies on how to break the mini spring in. What it says in the stickie, the spring is near impossible to compress by 1 hand. I found it really easy to compress even though i have not broken the marker in yet, is this normal or have i got a weak spring ?

You might have a weak spring. It all depends though on how strong you are. Just incase call KEE at 1800-220-3222 and tell them, and they will send you a new spring.

Mine was the same way when I got it. Even before I broke it in. I'd still dry fire a couple of tanks through it like the stickies say just to make sure it's broke in.

Leave the spring alone and go have fun with your new marker.

They may be doing a spring break in procedure at the factory now if your spring is light from the factory. I know some companies that make lift kits and lowering kits for cars do so with the coil springs. It wouldnt be hard for them to have started implementing that technology to the minis spring.

1 more question for 4X4 le

I have cleaned all areas of the bolt, and lubed according to the maintenance videos. Is the end of the poppit suppose to be left dry(mines dry, doesnt say anything about lubing in manual and stikies) or put a small amount of lube on it ?

Your supposed to lube the O-ring on the poppit. When you lube it though, make sure that you do not get any lube in the small hole.

Ha Ha ..

You both cool

Not a bad little marker for the price tag. A lot different compared to my other markers, but easy enough to understand.
Would have been nice if they could incorporate the reg into the grip frame, with an on/off attatched to the bottom of the frame. Mabe someone will come up with the idea soon enough.

It's on the way...

...Hopefully?

It's a bit hard to do, since the reg/asa are one in the same, but I think it could be done.
