I got it workings, its just very laggy, as if they were using a typical webcam or pc cam.

Nah, good on them for trying. Did any of you see the very first NPPL webcasts?

Next time I'm sure they wont bother using the Nowlive system, it's just not built for that many people and it's not at all user friendly or suited to sports broadcasting. For a very first shot this is more a learning experience for them than anything.

Even still, Matty and Bea are great commentators. Keep em.

it will only get better, i had a chance to hang out with the pblive crew they are a cool bunch of guys and they have a good idea.

Here's a question for the pblive guys:

Is it possible to record the webcast and then host it on youtube or whatever so that we on the other side of the world can watch later? To watch live from here in NZ the faithful few are having to watch between 3am and 10am. Not that we'll stop getting up whenever we need to with a blanket and a gallon of coffee if you don't, but hey it'd be nice

At the moment, we can only stream the video live. Hopefully down the road we will be able to save the audio and video as downloadable files later.

We'll see!
