Just got Viking in mail, need some help!

Ok, finally got my viking in the mail and wow, what a gun. A few questions though. I have the WAS board, not sure which version... how many modes does it have? How do I know whether or not the eyes are on? I managed to chop a ball to, last one in the feedneck

. Any idea how that happened? The vik was shooting fine, but when it got towards the end of the hopper it would suddenly stop. Pulling the trigger didn't do anything, when suddenly on a trigger pull plop out came a mess

It was the last ball... bad luck or did I do something wrong? Any help with Vikings, whether it answers my quetion or not, would be appreciated. As I was cleaning and lubing my gun I noticed that it really needs some TLC. I would like to do as much of it as possible myself but I don't want to break anything. Is there a general info page for vikings, something like cockertech or moody paintball for cockers? Thanks!

Last ball you say? Im betting it got stuck in an awkward position somehow, and then chopped when the gun cycled. Doesnt sound like it is the guns fault...

Well thats good news. Thats what i figured it was... still getting used to the halo. Any notorious problems with halos and vikings?

Not really, just try not to get down to the last ball because then the ball is more or less bouncing around as it no longer has any force on it from the loader.

Also if you only have version 1.6 use the viking/excal manual.
If you have version 2.0 use the PMI Pimp manual.

2.0 has ramping and stuff...1.6 is semi auto only. Only way to check it to try and change the firing mode. If you can its 2.0.

Lopez17 upgrades was boards for the cost of shipping it back to you.
If you get a pandora, shockerGEEk upgrades those to rMod.

The WAS manual for the viking 2.0 is the same as the Pimp manual

also, last ball chops are somewhat common on a halo/reloaderB. There's no pressure from a ball stack to keep it in the chamber, and it "bounces" out after the eyes have registered a ball in place.

Sorry guys...I dont flash rMod anymore. I sold my Viking and everything that went with it.
Pump only for me from now on......
Im sure someone else that has a vlink will step up to flash the boards.
As for WAS...Lopez17 is the man. I had him do a Viking board and a Timmy board. Both worked flawlessly.
