well after a 3 years of being dead last in pro Xball I think its about time to cut bait... maybe NPPL is more condusive to the team. Most of those kids have been playing together forever and from what I understand, tightnit teams are successful in NPPL.

True. But also, Ted doesn't exactly have a ton of money to go out and buy a bunch of 7 man bunkers, unlike some pro teams. I would like to see them in the NPPL, but bunkers are so friggin expensive.

I wouldn't mind a sponsorship for the players at the field.

If you want, you can buy a jersey from me and I'll claim it's a sponsorship!

I think NPPL would be fun to try out and play, but x ball is just a lot more fun to play. I doubt the guys on Ultimate would want to quit playing x ball to play nppl. PLaying both circuits would rock if they could afford the time off, BUT playing 2 circuits is very expensive. X Ball>NPPL

Well NPPL isnt a weeklong thing like PSP is... and I would imagine associated costs would be significantly less. Obviously they arent terribly competative in NXL so why not try something else?

not to be a dick, and i really dont mean this as offensive, but i dont think he really has the money for new xball bunkers either, because the field desperately needs them...

Why should he go out and spend money on new bunkers when the ones he was sent were defective? That's stupid.

Not to mention everytime Ted gets something new some jerk-offs sneak in and destroy his field and his bunkers, his new X-ball field got destroyed shortly after he got it... i would be think twice about spending that kind of jack on a field if people are destructive and dont take care of it...

You make a really good point, that is why Legacy/Blast left the NXL.
I think Ultimate could make a run in the NPPL, even if they started out in the Semi-pro divison; I say this because I do not know if many, if any, have played 7-man format before.
