Hey boys! In lieu of the K State vs. KU football game on this coming Saturday 10/6, and the MPS Event and World Cup also being this month , we believe that it's in everyone's best interest that we cancel the Kansas State Championships at Drop Zone that was scheduled for this Saturday . With the limited number of teams that showed interest , we believe that the payout wouldn't be worth it for the teams that did end up showing. We'll work on the scheduling for next year and would love to have any suggestion about the tournament format to make this event a success in the future.

what would make it better for next time would be to actually set up the full xball field that u have cause it is never setup for tourneys or even practices. and i really dont think that with world cup being just a few weeks away that it effected the turnout cause not to many teams here are even going to the event.

I believe the reason they where not going to set up the entire field was because they where expecting a larger turn out for the event. Due to a high volume of teams and games they would want to run two fields and make it go faster. Plus it doesnt really make much sense to run 3-man on a full Xball set up...That would take forever to have 3-mans playing on a 40 piece field....As for the xball field being set up for practices if more teams will show interest in coming out and playing then I will get it put up, I dont work there, but I will do it myself if I have too. But it is a waste of time to set up the entire field if only 2 teams show up. If more teams are willing to come out and get better then I am sure DZ would make sure the field gets put up...But that is just my two cents.

yea the only problem is last time i went up there they said they would have the full field set up and it ended up only being about 12 pieces put up!!!!! but maybe sometime before we leave for cup we can get a big practice out there

Justin's right. It's all about the communiation.
If you guys just tell me what you want... and then show up, we'll set the field up however you guys want it, whenever you want it up. That's what it's there for: you guys.

DSZ's next practice is Sunday, October 14th. 11am.

Tell me whos comming and what you guys want set up :-)
