Hello all,

I have recently purchased my first AKA marker and I am now on track to getting it operational. It is a 03 Viking. It needed alot of work right when I got it so I went out and purchased some replacement parts as well as a couple of upgrades. Here is a list of the stuff I had to either replace or chose to upgrade:

Pandora board (replacing bad board)
Trigger switch (replacing broken switch)
Eyes (replacing one bad eye)
Mitey Max (upgrade)
SCM III (upgrade)
03 Viking took kit (needed)

My question is: Should I send this gun off to get professionally setup and tuned? Or should I give it a crack myself? I am somewhat mechanically enclined but I don't want to bite off more than I can chew and break something.

Only thing in vikings that is kinda tricky. To me anyways.

Is taking the ram cartridge apart. And the side winder.

Other wise the things you listed shouldnt be to hard.

Its pretty basic stuff. The switch is decently easy. Just have to have patience when lining the two pins up.

The eye replace ment just requires snaking it up into place and making sure you dont pinch it when putting the grip back on.

I would try it yourself. It seems it may have been slightly abused by the previous owner. I would surely rebuild the ram cartridge. There is probably a lot of gunk in there. There is plenty of tutorials in the FAQs. I would have some extra 15/70 urethane orings though in case you clip some during disassembly/assembly.
