Question Pumping increases resale?

I don't know if it's just me but whenever I look at the b/s/t forums it seems that pumps sell for much higher than their semi counterparts. For example, an old 99' autocker could sell for $70 but as soon as its pumped the resale goes up to around $200. Now I know some pump kits are expensive and that can be responsible. I'm wondering if I can use this to my advantage. I have an ebladed superbolt and i've been trying to sell the thing for $200 for about a year now... I'm starting to think that if I pumped it and sold it as an ebladed pump and sold the pneumatics seperate i could make more $. Tell me if I'm crazy.

It seems it's impossible to sell and I think adding a pump kit would get me a resale value of around $300.

the demand recently went up due to a recent "fad". it could pass as easily as sock hats or stick around like the herpes that is the HK phenomenon. but i think it's cause of the amount of ppl wanting to play paintball w/o a wall of paint the entire 5 mins of a match. but i actually plan on playing pump for my first time this month.

yeah i noticed the recent fad... i dont really mind much cuz there isn't many pumpers around here so its still a unique thing. plus its still good to see a side of the sport growing.. but yea. thumbs up or down to my idea? itd be around $80 id spend and remake but i think it would help sell my marker.

Actually that is where you are wrong.

People POST them for higher, but rarely do they ever sell that high to an educated consumer.

Majority of the people who sell/buy that high have no clue what they are doing.

sell it w/ a reversible pump kit. (so if they want, they can go back to semi) i think cockers are made to go either way w/o heavy mods. correct me if im wrong.

I'd sell with a ccm pump kit, you may get more cash and a faster buyer

Unless you have to mill the body to accept the pump kit or something along those lines. I believe most karnivor pumps are milled to some extent, but I may be wrong of course.

I would put a pump kit on it. Most educated buyers will not buy for the ridiculous markup, instead just for original price + pump kit, but the nation does not have a ton of educated buyers.

Pup paintball has just gotten more popular. I recently started playing it and love it. The people are nice and there is no competition. It is actually relaxing.

Well, you take a cocker and add a $70 pump kit, then the price will go up. You usually won't make any money off it unless you find a sucker, which is pretty easy around here.
