He is 14 years old. Brilliant, so go some what easy on him, lol. Maybe some constructive criticism?

Well the ones that are longer than that are going to get removed then. Read the rules before posting.

givensin,
I really liked some of your photos but I had to remove several of them because they were to big. Max posting size is 800 pixels on the longest side. Feel free to repost them when you figure out how to resize them.

The photos are good, but a couple are mediocre. He definitely has talent, though...
Construction Criticism: Get more interesting subjects. Cans of film, dirt, tree roots, etc. don't cut it. The fireworks shot is too dark. He should either frame the fireworks tightly, or zoom out and include the land beneath them. Right now there's just a bunch of dead space. The photo of the cyclist would be better if it was taken earlier, when the cyclist was facing more towards him. Lastly, we don't like photos of flowers on this forum.
for Dick Scobee. Where's the gravestone located?
The most talented young photographer I've seen is Joey Lawrence http://joeyl.com/. I think he's like 17 now, but he was 15 when I found the site.

Well at least he knows what depth of field is. Besides that, not really much but that's a good start if he wants to continue.
