Front Grip on the 98 Custom

I have a 98C and i love everything other than the front grip on it. I think it looks stupid and cheap. Is there any mod to change the front grip on the 98C? Or is there something cool you could buy. I think X-chambers and stabs look good but don't wanna spend that much money if im just gpnna do it for looks and not the consistency . Especially cuz the x-chamber doesn't do anything. Links would be great!

You could try hacking it off and smoothing out the body then buying an expansion chamber to install where the steel hose goes.

Cut the front grip off, smooth up and add a picatinny rail and then put whatever accsesories/ foregrip you wanted. Look at cheaperthandirt.com they have some neat stuff pretty cheap - it will be under m-16 stuff.

agreed with above it actually does do something it keeps the co2 from freezing up during the winter like how it'll get so cold it freezes the gun ya well it keeps it from doing that plus they are recommended if u own a response trigger

the expansion chamber expands the liquid co2 into gas, so its more efficient (around 1000 shots from a 20oz tank on an a5), and is more consistent, and is also better in the cold, like empire said

Ok thanks for turning this thread into arguing. Its a good upgrade for a tippy 98 if you wanted to have it a tighter feel and it also helps the guns performance.

an expansion chamber helps ANY gun that uses co2 you dolt. Especially if you plan to go low pressure, the added volume of the expansion chamber helps a TON.

Thank you nenkitsune. An actual intelligent post.

Sorry but saying it doesn't do anything is stupid. Gizmo, there is basically no difference on whether or not its stacked tube or single tube. X chamber still helps.

I find amusement in this thread. I also have link you guys should read about the subject. http://www.ottersccustoms.com/setup.html You can skip and go straight to the the topic of Expansion Chamber Setup and Regulator Setup. If this does not help you guys I will look for the Palmer Pursuits article on expansion chamber and regulators.

omg..

EVERYTHING looks good on paper. Can you actually say you've noticed a change when you add an x/c to a gun? No, you do not. End of story.
